Pentart offers many different varnishes in various finishes. Solvent and water based, ranging from Hi gloss to ultra matte.
Dekor Varnish Soft Touch is water- based varnish that is ultra matte, It is a highly resistant varnish to porous surfaces with an extra soft finish. Soft touch is mainly used for furniture and small pieces that will be touched or handled. When applying, it is recommended to not overlap the applied layers.
There are three types of Glossy Varnishes, two are solvent based and the other is water based.
The first solvent base has a slight yellowish color and is recommended to use for antique effects. The second solvent- based glossy varnish is just a clear varnish. Both solvent varnishes pair perfectly with Fine Line Crackle.
Glossy water based varnish gives a glossy finish. It is water-soluble and waterproof after drying.
Chameleon Varnish is water based varnish with a pearlescent, chameleon effect. This varnish is usually used as an accent over decoupaged surfaces as well as over curved and 3D surfaces giving an elegant iridescent sheen. It comes in three colors.
Bronze
Silver
Gold
Matte Varnish is water based varnish with a matte finish. It becomes waterproof after drying and is easy to apply.
Solvent varnish is available in both Glossy and Matte finishes.
Spray Varnish is a semi glossy water based varnish. It's best to use on mixed media projects. Especially, use it without the worry of visible brush strokes.
