Acrylic, Chalky, Metallic Paints- Pentart 101 - Episode 28

Acrylic Paint is a water-based, high-pigmented paint which comes in matte, glossy, creamy, and metallic finishes and in a large variety of colors.

Tip: If the acrylic paint starts to become thick or almost dried up, mix distilled water into the container. This will revive the paint. 

Acrylic paint coverage is great over lighter surfaces versus darker surfaces, which would need a few more coats. 

Creamy Acrylic Paint is a water-based, high- pigment paint with a creamy consistency in matte, semi-gloss, or metallic finish. This paint can be used with stencils, painted with a brush, or used to create textures with a palette knife. It also dries quickly. 

Tip: Brush strokes are more visible with semi-gloss Creamy Acrylic paint. 

Chalky Paint is a water-based, high-pigment paint with a chalky finish, leaving a smooth and soft surface. It is recommended to be used on furniture. Comes in a large variety of colors and four sizes. (100ml, 230ml, 500ml, and 1000ml).

Tip: Use Chalky Paint to achieve a shabby and distressed look. 

Metallic Paints are water-based, high-pigment paints with full coverage, coming in Creamy, Chameleon Pearl Effect, Glamour, and Delicate Metallics finishes..

Chameleon Pearl Effect is a water-based, high-pigment acrylic paint with a two-tone chameleon pearl finish. Use regular acrylic paint as a primer, matching the color of the Chameleon Pearl Effect paint to emphasise the effect or just use Chameleon Pearl Effect alone. It comes in eight colors.
